KIMHĒKIM is a fashion brand founded in 2016 by Kiminte Kimhekim, who drew on his experience at a prestigious French fashion house as well a his Korean heritage to launch his eponymous label. KIMHĒKIM takes its name from the ancient royal family of Gaya, renowned for their golden artistry and craftsmanship. Reinterpreting this heritage through a modern lens, KIMINTĒ infuses the brand’s collections with a refined passion for self-expression and aesthetics— always with a touch of unexpected playfulness. Rooted in skilled tailoring, the brand is best known for its minimalist silhouettes contrasted with bold, maximalist details.
Learning the joy of crafts from sewing and braiding with his grandmother, KIMINTĒ KIMHĒKIM grew up nurturing a passion for arts and creation. His passion carried on with his studies in Paris. After his graduation, KIMINTĒ continued to work in prestigious fashion houses, accumulating exquisite and delicate techniques of French couture. The nostalgia of his early experiences became a catalyst for creating a label where his voice can be truly expressed. Since the summer of 2016 when he founded his eponymous label, KIMINTĒ has been presenting his passion for creativity an aesthetics through his collections, as a member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
